摘要
18世纪晚期的法国绘画经历了一次重要的风格转型,即从面相美学转向对肢体语言的强调,手势和身体动作成为塑造人物形象的主要手段。本文通过分析达维特等新古典主义艺术家的作品,阐释这一转型背后的历史动因,并揭示在启蒙运动与法国大革命时期,艺术中的手势和身体动作所承载的政治话语、哲学观念和社会意义。
The late 18th century had seen a major stylistic transition in French paintings,that is,from an orientation towards aesthetics towards an emphasis to body language.Gestures and physical movements became an important instrument for shaping images of characters.By analyzing works of neoclassical artists like Jacques-Louis David,this paper discusses the historical reasons for this transition and reveals how gestures and physical movements in art carried with political discourses,philosophic concepts and social implications during the Enlightenment Period and French Revolution.
