Plant alcohol extract is a natural active substance extracted from an alcohol solution. The extraction method is simple and the extraction efficiency is high, plant alcohol extract rich in flavonoids and polyphenols, which plays anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumor and antibacterial effects. The paper reviews the extraction process of plant alcohol extract, their biological effects and potential mechanisms, to provide reference for application of plant alcohol extract in animal husbandry.
