Peste des petits ruminants is a major infectious disease disease,caused by Peste des Petits ruminants virus,also known as sheep plague.Once infected,Peste des petits ruminants can develop in large numbers,sometimes as high as 50% of people die from the disease,the mortality rate for younger sheep is as high as 100%.This kind of viral infectious disease will hinder the healthy development of sheep breeding industry,and is not conducive to the promotion of economic efficiency.This paper mainly discusses the epidemiology,clinical manifestations and pathogenesis of Peste des Petits Ruminants,and puts forward the corresponding comprehensive prevention and control measures.
