王阳明与其《传习录》之要义

Wang Yangming and the Essentials of ChuanXiLu

王阳明一生忠于朝廷,富有为国担当精神;竭力践行圣人之道;传道诲人皆合国家所必需;行政施治,体恤民心,卓用化育,人民鼓舞。其《传习录》倡导“亲民”“爱民”“知行合一”“心即理”“致良知”。并提出修养四法:一是由《大学》入手,学好格物、致知、诚意、明明德,自然“致良知”;二是在心中一念之微处辨别充遏善恶是非;三是在事上学,在事上磨;四是无理良知,不拘死格。王阳明《传习录》有传承,有创见,其思想是中华民族优秀传统文化一个新的高峰,使中华民族在其后五百年间,积聚了厚重的民族精神、民族信仰,为中华民族融通世界奠定了文化自信的思想精神基础。

Wang Yangming was loyal to the imperial court all his life and was full of responsibility for the country,he tried his best to practice the way of the saints,propagated the doctrine and edified people,which was necessary for the country;he implemented benevolent government,showed solicitude for people,and carried out key education on them,which highly inspired people.His ChuanXiLu advocates"Renovate the People","Cherish the People","Syncretism of Knowledge and Action","Mind is rational"and"Extension of Innate Knowledge".Meanwhile,he proposed the following four methods of cultivation.First,started from"The Great Learning"and learn investigation of things,extension of knowledge,sincerity and illustrating illustrious virtue,and then naturally achieved"Extension of Innate Knowledge".Second,distinguished between good and evil in the slightest place of mind,praising virtue and curbing vice.Third,tempered in practice and studied in human actions.Last,pursued innate knowledge without rationale instead of sticking to a set pattern.ChuanXiLu contained heritage and original idea and his thought was a new peak of the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation.It made the Chinese nation accumulate thick national spirit and belief for the next 500 years and laid the foundation for the Chinese nation to integrate with the world with cultural confidence.
