朱子论“自欺”--以《朱子语类》卷第十六“释诚意”为中心

Zhu Zi’s View of Self-deception--Centered on the"Sincerity"Chapter of Volume 16 of Quotations about Zhu Zi

朱子关于“自欺”的定义,在《大学章句》传章中表述为:“自欺云者,知为善以去恶,而心之所发有未实也。”但在门人所记录《朱子语类》(卷第十六)中,则呈现出“自欺”注解的新旧变化。尤其,以门人记录时间先后作为理解朱子前后思想的辅证,我们得以窥见朱子本人思想的历程,探究定本改注的理由,从而深化对于“自欺”问题的理解以及朱子的真实用心。

Zhu Zi’s definition of"self-deception"is expressed in the biography of University Chapters and Sentences as follows:"Those who deceive themselves know that they are good to get rid of evil,but what their hearts do is not true."However,in the Language Classes recorded by the disciples(Volume 16),there are new and old changes in the annotation of"selfdeception".In particular,with the time sequence recorded by the disciples as the auxiliary evidence to understand Zhu Zi’s thoughts,we can have a glimpse of Zhu Zi’s thought process,explore the reasons for revising the original text,and deepen the understanding of the problem of"self-deception"and Zhu Zi’s real intention.
