共产党如何领导中国的发展

How the CPC leads China’s development

祝贺本届中国国际学术论坛的召开,本次会议由中国社会科学院主办,主题是“中国式现代化新道路”。很高兴参加本次会议。我想与大家分享我向世界讲述中国故事的经验,以及我对中国共产党的一些看法。距离我首次到访中国,有30多年了。我和我的长期合作伙伴朱先生走遍了中国各地,访问了100多个城市,我们一起做研究、访谈、出书、写随笔、上电视和拍纪录片。

I have given thought, over the years, as to what has brought about China’s developmental miracle. I conclude in twelve principles. For the world to understand China, it must understand the Party’s way of thinking – in other words, first, why the CPC asserts that the Party’s continuing political leadership is optimum for China’s development;and second, why the CPC asserts that the Party’s robustness depends on its adaptability,self-regulation and strict management.
