How to Understand Journalistic Transparency in the Digital Era?

新闻透明性逐渐成为新闻学研究中的基础概念与重要问题。本文从概念分析入手,结合概念史研究的视角,追溯新闻透明性兴起的历史逻辑与社会文化语境,详细勾勒了新闻透明性概念的共识与争议、透明性与客观性之间的关联、透明性概念自西向东的“理论旅行”。基于新闻业界的实践探索,新闻透明性作为新闻职业共同体的规范观念逐渐浮现;在数字新闻语境下,观念与实践的相互形塑,使得透明性观念嵌入到新闻工作者的日常工作中,并逐渐发展出透明性方法与技术。本文还分析了新闻透明性概念与情感、权威、行动者网络等概念之间的分疏。最后,本文尝试探讨新闻透明性作为实践概念的可能意义。

Journalistic transparency has gradually become a fundamental concept and an essential issue in the journalism studies. From the perspective of conceptual history studies, this paper traces the historical logic and socio-cultural context of the emerging journalistic transparency by conceptual analysis. It elaborates the consensus and controversy of the concept of journalistic transparency, the connection between transparency and objectivity, and the “theoretical journey” of the concept of transparency from West to East. Based on the practical exploration of journalism, journalistic transparency as an ethics norm of the professional journalistic community has gradually emerged. In the context of digital journalism, it has seen a mutual shaping of ideas and practices. As a result, the idea of transparency has embedded into the daily work of journalists. Methods and techniques of transparency have also been gradually developed. This paper also analyzes the nations of journalistic transparency, emotion, authority and the actor-network. In the end, this paper attempts to explore the possible implications of journalistic transparency as a practical concept.
