摘要
手势识别技术作为人机交互的重要组成部分,在5G感知、手语翻译、体感游戏等领域有着广阔的应用前景。针对接触式传感器、机器视觉和无线信号在手势识别中存在需佩戴设备、暴露隐私等缺陷,提出了采用毫米波雷达手势识别的技术优势,并按时间顺序分析归纳了现有毫米波雷达手势识别技术采用的方法以及达到的识别效果。最后对下一步发展方向进行展望,指出了连续手势动作检测、干扰抑制、实时动作识别等是手势识别技术未来的发展方向。
Hand gesture recognition technology, as an important part of human-computer interaction, has broad application prospects in the fields of 5G sensing, sign language translation, somatosensory games, etc. For the defects of contact sensors, machine vision, and wireless signals in hand gesture recognition such as mandatory equipment wearing and privacy exposure, millimeter wave radar has its own technical advantages on the hand gesture recognition. In this paper, the methods and recognition performance of the existing millimeter wave radar based hand gesture recognition technology are analyzed and summarized in chronological order. Finally, to promote the practicality of hand gesture recognition of millimeter wave radar, this paper prospects the future development directions and points out that continuous hand gesture detection, interference suppression, and real-time gesture recognition are future research directions in the field of hand gesture recognition technologies.
