摘要
本文通过回顾我国外语教育的历程,探讨教育语言学的研究范畴和研究内容。我国外语教育的历史告诉我们,对外语教学语种的选择与政治、经济因素密不可分。服务国家需求是外语教育的恒久主题。我国外语教学所倡导的教学内容和教学方法是在不同语言学理论指导下的教学实践。本文还分析了“活用词”教学法和语篇分析、交际教学法和交际语言学、情景教学法与语用学和语境理论等之间的关系,揭示外语教育实践与语言学理论关联的丰富内涵。从外语教育视野来看,这些丰富的内涵正是教育语言学应当关注的问题。
Reviewing the course of foreign language education in China, this paper discusses the realm and contents of educational linguistics. The history of foreign language education in China reveals the close link between the choice of foreign languages in foreign language teaching and the political and economic factors. Meeting national demands remains the permanent theme of foreign language education.The contents and teaching methods advocated at various stages of China’s foreign language teaching reflect the practice of different linguistic theories. An analysis is provided of the relationship between “active word” opproach and discourse analysis, communication teaching method and communicative linguistics, situational teaching method and pragmatic/context theory, etc., to explicate the implications of linguistic theories to foreign language teaching. These implications should be explored by educational linguistics.
