An introduction was made on the general information and design contents of a reservoir project to be constructed in Guilin City.Combined with the geological conditions and local materials reserve of project area,comparison and selection of dam type schemes were conducted.The optimum dam type scheme is determined based on qualitative analysis and quantitative comparison.
