摘要
在全球化的背景下,英语思辨能力正成为当代大学生不可或缺的技能。《大学英语教学指南》中明确指出大学英语课程中需要重点提升学生的科学素养及思辨能力。然而,目前高校英语教学中存在着重听说弱读写、通用英语普及而学术英语能力欠缺、语言表达的逻辑严谨性不足和英语写作难以有效论证等问题。基于此,本文在分析新时期高校英语教学中师生思辨素养能力偏低的基础上,提出相关的培养策略。
The background of globalization, English speculative ability is becoming an indispensable skill for contemporary college students. “College English Curriculum Requirements” clearly points out that college English courses need to focus on improving students’ scientific literacy and speculative ability. However, there are some problems in college English teaching, such as focusing on listening, speaking, weak reading and writing, the popularization of general English and the lack of academic English ability, the lack of logical rigor of language expression, and the difficulty of effective argumentation in English writing. Based on the analysis of the low speculative literacy of teachers and students in college English teaching in the new era, this paper puts forward relevant strategies for cultivating speculative literacy.
