新文科背景下,提出大学生要进行综合性的跨学科学习。对于大学英语教学而言,不仅要着重培养学生语言本身的技能和素养,而且还需要提高他们跨文化的能力。除了增强本国文化的学习,也需要重视西方文化的学习,以开放包容的心态将东西方文化相融合。也就是说,既要培养大学生的国际视野,同时也要树立本国文化自信,成为一个真正意义上的国际人才。

Under the background of new liberal arts, it is proposed that college students should conduct comprehensive interdisciplinary learning. For college English teaching, it is not only necessary to focus on cultivating students’ language skills and literacy, but also to improve their cross-cultural abilities. In addition to enhancing the study of the national culture, it is also necessary to attach importance to the study of Western culture and integrate the Eastern and Western cultures with an open and tolerant attitude. In other words, it is necessary not only to cultivate the international vision of college students, but also to establish self-confidence in their own culture and become a truly international talent.
