Placing Businesses at the Center Is an Innovative Approach for Vocational Education Sector in the New Era

新职业教育法重新确立以企业为主体的办学格局,这既是对过去企校一体化的回归,又是新时代职业教育的创新之举。

As Zhang Shanyong, vice chairman of the Special Committee on Corporate Education of China Adult Education Association, noted, the Vocational Education Law, which was newly revised and came into force as of May 1, 2022, again places businesses at the center of education. This action not only marks the return of the former system of integrating businesses and schools, but also is an innovative approach for vocational education sector in the new era. Guided by the new policy, the integration between industry and education will eventually move towards the merging of industry and education, in which the “integration of pre-employment, inemployment and post-employment education ” focusing on lifelong vocational education will serve as a pathway to help achieve this goal.
