在一些特定的北京风物传说中,时常会出现神话元素,“变化型”神话观念的流传作为一种典型的神话传承现象,体现了在生活中人们对“变化”这一现象的好奇和奇幻想象。“变化型”神话元素在北京风物传说中出现两种不同走势,一种表现为隐藏性,另一种表现为直观性,它们不但可以视为神话文化能够长期传承的典型依据,也可以从中看到人们对该类型神话的文化需求。
