New Material Technology and Innovation of“No Man's Land”--Interview with Ding Wenjiang,Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering

摘要 院士跨界高端访谈栏目旨在探索面向未来的科技人文问题。本期访谈中国工程院院士、上海交通大学材料科学与工程学院丁文江教授,围绕新材料技术与“无人区”创新等问题展开。丁文江教授认为,二十一世纪以来中国在新材料领域已取得重大革新,但在关键战略材料和前沿新材料方面还处于探索阶段,要想突破“卡脖子”困局,需要从基础理论的研究实力、企业技术的创新能力、人才的创新活力、科技的创新机制等多方面强化中国的战略科技力量。科技创新所能达到的高度,取决于基础的宽度、厚度和深度,而在“无人区”创新有赖于团队合作和战略科学家的培养。同时,面对“无人区”科技创新可能带来的科技伦理问题,中国亟须推进科技伦理的研究与构建。科学领域与人文社科领域的工作者们应互相关注彼此领域的最新成果与方法,加强彼此间的联系与合作,打破次元壁垒,不断尝试并挑战将二者有机结合,拉近科技与人文的距离,做出真正有益于社会的创新。 The Column of Transdisciplinary Top Interview of Academicians aims to explore future-oriented issues in science,technology,and humanities.This interview with Prof essor Ding Wenjiang,academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and School of Materials Science and Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University,focuses on issues such as new materials technology and innovation in“no man's land”.Professor Ding Wenjiang believes that,since the 21st century,China has made great innovations in the field of new material.However,the key strategic materials and cutting-edge new materials are still in the exploratory stage.In order to break through the“stuck neck”dilemma,it is necessary to strengthen China's strategic scientific and technological strength from the research strength of basic theory,the innovation ability of enterprise technology,the innovation vitality of talents,and the innovation mechanism of science and technology.The height that scientific and technological innovation can reach depends on the width,thickness and depth of the basis,while innovation in“no man's land”depends on teamwork and the cultivation of strategic scientists.At the same time,facing the possible ethical problems of science and technology brought about by scientific and technological innovation in“no man's land”,China urgently needs to promote the research and construction of scientific and technological ethics.Workers in the fields of science and humanities should pay attention to the latest achievements and methods in each other's fields,strengthen their ties and cooperation,break down the dimensional barriers,constantly try and challenge to organically combine the two,narrow the distance between science and humanities,and make innovations that are really beneficial to society.
