Effects of Variety and Density on Cotton Yield and Quality under Direct Seeding Cotton after Garlic

在蒜后直播短季棉种植模式下,探讨棉花品种和密度对其农艺性状、产量和纤维品质的影响;结果表明,品种间籽棉产量差异显著,农艺性状、纤维品质差异不显著,德棉15号的籽棉产量显著高于德0720;密度对籽棉产量和皮棉产量影响显著,对农艺性状、纤维品质影响不显著,高密度处理籽棉产量、皮棉产量显著高于低密度处理,德0720、德棉15号均适合高密度种植;综合认为,在鲁西北地区大蒜茬后直播短季棉模式下,最适棉花品种是德棉15号,最适密度是90000株/公顷。

This experiment was conducted to study the effects of cotton variety and density on agronomic traits, yield and fiber quality of cotton under the direct seeding short-season cotton after garlic. The results showed that there were significant differences in seed cotton yield, but no significant differences in agronomic traits and fiber quality among varieties. The seed cotton yield of Demian 15 was significantly higher than that of De 0720. Density had significant effects on seed cotton yield and lint yield, but had no significant effects on agronomic traits and fiber quality. Seed cotton yield and lint yield of high density treatment were significantly higher than that of low density treatment. Both De 0720 and Demian 15 were suitable for high density planting. It is generally believed that the optimal cotton variety is Demian 15, and the optimal density is 90000 plants/hm~2 under the direct seeding short-season cotton after garlic in Southwest Shandong.
