清末吉林商务总会的组织机构与职能探析

On the Organization and Function of Jilin General Chamber of Commerce in the Late Qing Dynasty

庚子事变后,清政府内忧外患,民生凋敝。为了挽救危亡,延续统治,清政府推行新政,在经济方面的主要举措为振兴商务、奖励实业。吉林商务总会积极响应号召,带动省内各地陆续成立商会。吉林商务总会通过完善内部组织结构以及履行经济、社会职能,对稳定当地社会秩序、推动吉林经济向近代化过渡发挥了重要作用。

After the Gengzi Incident,the Qing government was troubled by internal and external troubles,and people’s livelihood was withered.In order to save the peril and continue the rule,the Qing government implemented the New Deal,among which the economic measures were mainly to revitalize the business and reward the industry.The Jilin Chamber of Commerce actively responded to the call of the capital and led to the establishment of chambers of commerce in all parts of the province.Jilin Business Federation has played an important role in stabilizing the local social order and promoting the transition of Jilin’s economy to modernization by improving its internal organizational structure and performing economic and social functions.
