摘要
叶弥的小说是极端的,又是中庸的;是残忍的,又是温和的。她不会在任何一端多停留几分,这使其小说平和如水,极为流畅,呈现出多重样貌,但也存在难以归类和开掘不够之嫌。叶弥的这种“调和”叙事,既上承中国古代文化中的“中庸”思想,又与当代文化中的某种“暧昧”和“妥协”相关。因此,通过对其“调和”叙事的把握,可窥探其小说的恒定性因素与潜藏的当代精神症候。
Ye Mi’s novels are both extreme and moderate, and both cruel and gentle. She will not stay at any end for any extra time, which makes her novels as peaceful as water, reading extremely smooth and showing multiple forms. But this also result in the criticism that the novels are difficult to categorize and insufficient in profundity. Ye Mi’s “harmonious” narration not only inherits the “golden mean” belief in ancient Chinese culture, but also relates to the “ambiguity” and “compromise” in contemporary culture.Therefore, by understanding the “harmonious” narration, we can explore the constant factors and the hidden contemporary spiritual symptoms in her novels.
