Acariasis is a common disease in cattle production,which affects and restricts the development of cattle industry.ACARIASIS is a kind of chronic dermatosis caused by the long-term parasitism of the Mites of sarcoptidae and Demodicidae on the epidermis or body surface of cattle.The disease is mainly transmitted by contact infection and can cause bovine pruritus and various types of skin inflammation.This paper reviews the epidemic characteristics,clinical symptoms,diagnostic methods,prevention and treatment of acariasis in order to reduce its harm in cattle production.
