摘要
超语实践(translanguaging)是国际应用语言学领域的重要理论之一,也是近几年的研究热点。本文是对李嵬教授的访谈录,介绍了超语实践理论的来龙去脉,包括理论创新、内涵、研究方法、核心概念及对外语教学的启示等。李嵬教授指出,从教学法发展而来的超语实践是应用语言学的实践性理论;该理论打破了语言、语言变体和其他符号资源的界限,重新定义了语言;超语实践使用“即时分析”的研究方法,关注外语教学和新媒体语境下语言实践过程中的创造性和批判性,为跨语言实践研究带来了新的视角。本文介绍超语实践理论,以期推进国内应用语言学的研究进展。
Translanguaging has evolved as one of the landmark theories in the international community of Applied Linguistics and a research focus in recent years.This paper,an interview with Li Wei,covers a number of issues concerning the formulation of translanguaging theory,ranging from its innovation,implications,research methodology,the kernel of the related conceptions,and enlightenment for foreign language pedagogy.He argues that as a practical theory originating from teaching approaches,translanguaging breaks out of the boundaries formed by a language,its varieties and other sign resources,thus redefining a language.Employing the research method of“moment analysis”,translanguaging represents a novel perspective for language teaching and new-media-assisted cross-language research by addressing the creativity and criticality in language practice.It is hoped that this paper will contribute to China’s research and exploration in Applied Linguistics.
