摘要
“华实”范畴是中国古代文论的重要术语。“华”与“实”原本是两个单独的词项,本身具有丰富的实义。魏晋时期文学自觉时代的到来推动了“华”和“实”的审美化,刘勰在继承它们原有义项的基础上,将“华实”并举并将其引入文学批评领域,赋予“华实”这对范畴以审美内涵。刘勰深知华而不实或有实无华都将导致文坛弊病,因而他积极提倡华实相配的中和美学,使之成为其美学体系必不可少的一对范畴。
“Huashi”theory is an important term of Chinese ancient literary criticism.“Hua”and“Shi”were originally two separate words with rich meanings.The arrival of the era of literary consciousness in the Wei and Jin Dynasties promoted the change of the meaning of them to the aesthetic direction.On the basis of inheriting their original meanings,Liu Xie combined“Hua”with“Shi”and introduced them into the field of literary criticism,giving the theory aesthetic connotation.Liu Xie was well aware that the beauty of articles without truth or excessive truth without beauty would lead to disadvantages in the literary world.Therefore,he actively advocated both gorgeous and real neutralization aesthetics,making it an indispensable pair of theories in his aesthetic system.
