A remote control electric locomotive instead of a diesel locomotive is used to locate hot-metal ladle under blast furnace in Shuigang,which is a new idea and also a new method in the railway transport system of Shuigang,not only reduces the cost and risk of railway transport operation but also creates favorable conditions for downsizing staffs.The application effects of the electric locomotive are systematically analyzed,the operation procedures of the electric locomotive are improved and the popularization value of the electric locomotive is evaluated.
