The Design and Application of Language Teaching Materials for Basic English Sentence Patterns Based on Montessori Concept

五种基本句型(SV、SVC、SVO、SVOO和SVOC)是英语学习之核心,也是培养听说读写译等基本技能的基石。基于蒙氏理念和问卷调查,以实用新型专利“一种用于英语基本句型教学的语言教具”(专利号:ZL 2020 2 0248001.9)为例,阐释英语基本句型教具专利的背景、构成、特点与运用,分析把抽象的英语句型学习转变为形象的蒙台梭利语言教具操作的启蒙方法,帮助中国孩子在语言敏感期的大脑中留下英语文法的印记,减少日后母语负迁移的影响,有效提升其英语综合能力。

The five basic English sentence patterns(SV,SVC,SVO,SVOO and SVOC) are the cores of English learning,and also the cornerstone of developing basic skills such as listening,speaking,reading,writing and translation.Based on the Montessori concept and questionnaire,this research illustrates with the utility model patent“One of the Language Teaching Materials for Teaching Basic English Sentence Patterns”(patent no.:ZL2020 20248001.9) to elucidate the background,composition,characteristics and application of the patent of basic English teaching materials,providing an enlightenment method to transform abstract English sentence pattern learning into visual operation of Montessori language teaching materials,helping Chinese children leave English grammar imprint on their brain in the language sensitive period,and weakening the influence of negative transfer of mother tongue in the future,so as to effectively improve children’s comprehensive English ability.
