The paper introduces the function of the main transformer air-cooled system and then analyzes the power supply circuit and control circuit.It elaborates on the possible reasons for typical faults and provides an approach and daily maintenance plan for workers.Finally,the approach is put into practical handling of a fault.With the reason of the fault found out and corresponding measures adopted,the effectiveness of this approach is verified.
