图式与文化:图式理论在高职英语教学中的应用

Schema and Culture:the Application of Schema Theory in Higher Vocational English Teaching

文化是语言的重要元素,不同语言体系内蕴藏着不同的文化价值及文化形态,能够形成相应的文化图式,直观展现这一语言文化的特色。在高职的英语课程教学中,教师为了让学生更好地理解英语语言文化,感受中西方语言差异及其文化差异,灵活运用图式理论,构建双文化图式,通过给学生呈现双文化图式,让学生能够直接看到中英两种语言的文化差异,引导学生正确面对文化差异,形成健康的文化差异观念、文化价值观念,强化学生的文化意识、跨文化交际能力。本文简要阐述了图式理论及高职英语中的双文化图式,分析了双文化图式在高职英语教学中的应用价值,对图式理论在高职英语教学中的应用进行深入探究。

Culture is an important element of language.Different language systems contain different cultural values and cultural forms,which can form corresponding cultural schemas and intuitively show the characteristics of this language and culture.In the teaching of English courses in higher vocational colleges,in order to make students better understand English language and culture,feel the differences between Chinese and Western languages and their cultural differences,teachers flexibly use schema theory to construct bicultural schema.By presenting students with bicultural schema,let students directly see the cultural differences between Chinese and English,guide them to correctly face cultural differences,form healthy cultural differences and cultural values,and strengthen students cultural awareness and cross-cultural communication ability.This paper briefly expounds schema theory and bicultural schema in higher vocational English,analyzes the application value of bicultural schema in Higher Vocational English teaching,and probes into the application of Schema Theory in higher vocational English teaching.
