第三届全国名老中医学术继承工作导师孙六合教授,擅于应用传统中医疗法结合现代手段治疗多科疑难杂症,注重理论创新。在治疗面瘫时倡导中西医结合,贯通中西理论,针药并用;又注重依据脉象,精准预防“倒错”,并能根据脉象强弱及脉温的不同,运用巨刺法调燮阴阳。独创新穴“口内三针”,对于顽固难愈者收效良好,运用割治法于面瘫患者口腔内“割治”阳性反应点,并结合解剖定位运用多种刺法及特色疗法,大大减轻患者痛苦,从而缩短疗程,充分体现其针灸治疗面瘫的临床特色。
