Breeding of Shengsong 818, a New Loose-curd Cauliflower Cultivar

松散型花椰菜盛松818植株生长势旺盛,株型直立紧凑,外叶深绿色、蜡质中等,叶柄较短;花球白、松散平圆、花茎长且青,花球横径26.7 cm,纵径13.8 cm,单球质量1.65 kg左右,每667 m^(2)产量3630 kg左右。适宜我国北方高海拔地区(兰州、河北坝上地区)5月15日至6月5日播种,云南、湖北、浙江、安徽、广东、福建、四川、重庆等地区7月20日至8月30日播种,天津、北京、河北、河南、陕西、山东、江苏、辽宁等平原地区12月10日至翌年1月10日播种栽培。

Shengsong 818 grows vigorously, vertical and compact shape, with dark green outer leaves, medium wax and short petiole. The curd is white, loose, flat and round, and the stem is long and green. The curd is 23.5 cm in transverse diameter, 13.8 cm in vertical diameter, and 1.65 kg in weight. The yield is about 3 630 kg/667 m^(2). It is suitable for sowing from May 15 to June 5 in the high altitude areas of north China(Lanzhou, Bashang area of Hebei province), from July 20 to August 30 in Yunnan, Hubei, Zhejiang, Anhui, Guangdong, Fujian, Sichuan, Chongqing and other regions, and from December 10 to January 10 in Tianjin, Beijing, Hebei, Henan, Shaanxi, Shandong, Jiangsu, Liaoning and other plain areas.
