Analysis and Comparison of the Calculation Methods of the Settlement of Pile Foundations Using American Standards and Chinese Standards

桩基沉降控制是国际总承包工程中的一个重要考核指标,为了进一步提高中国设计人员运用美国标准的能力,在工程咨询设计实践中全面准确地理解和掌握美国标准桩基沉降相关的理念和计算方法,通过系统性分析美国标准桩基沉降计算方法,运用土力学基本原理,结合相关文献研究结论,对常用美国标准桩基沉降计算公式进行全面的归纳、解析和对比,进一步辨明了美国标准体系的分散性所造成的计算方法不统一、适用性不明确和部分参数确定不完善等存在的问题,梳理了各类公式的适用条件,对工程咨询设计具有应用意义的计算公式提出了选择建议,并指出部分参数指标的进一步解决方案。同时,结合具体工程实例,从理论层面和计算结果层面阐明美国标准和中国标准两者的相通性和差异性。

Pile foundation settlement control is an important evaluation indicator in international general contracting projects.To further improve Chinese designers’ability to use American standards and comprehensively and accurately understand and master the concepts and calculation methods related to the American standards for pile foundation settlement in the practice of engineering consulting and design,by systematically analyzing the calculation methods of pile foundation settlement using the American standards,applying the soil mechanics theory and research conclusions,the paper arrange,analyzes and compares the commonly used formulas for pile foundation settlement calculation using American standards,further identifies the problems as a result of the dispersivity of American standard system such as inconsistency in calculation methods,difficulty in defining the scope of application and imperfection in the determination of some parameters,sorts out the applicable conditions of various formulas,puts forward suggestions on the selection of the calculation formulas with practical significance for engineering consulting and design,and points out further solutions for the determination of some parameter indicators.Meanwhile,combined with specific project cases,the paper demonstrates similarities and differences between American standards and Chinese standards from the theoretical level and calculation result level.
