嘉兴“掼牛”文化符号阐释

Explanation of Cultural Symbol of"Jiaxing Guanniu"

基于文化符号学的视角,运用文献资料法、田野调查法等研究方法,运用文化分层理论,对嘉兴掼牛运动的文化符号意涵进行阐释。研究认为:物质层面,掼牛技术凸显身体本能“搏”的真实写照,场地凸显出人与万物和谐共生,服饰凸显对真主的崇拜;制度层面,“抱拳礼”“不打牛、不伤牛、不辱骂牛”“结果平等”,是回汉人民对自然和神灵的敬畏崇拜,是热爱生命保护动物、反对暴力血腥的表现,体现了人与自然和谐共生;在行为层面,掼牛中所蕴含的行为文化符号,诠释了中国人自古以来追求内外兼修、天人合一,折射出力量与智慧之美、柔与刚之美,表达嘉兴人对美好生活的向往;在精神层面,嘉兴掼牛凸显出回汉人民团结有爱、吃苦耐劳、崇德尚武等精神,承载着不同代际之间独特的民族精神与民族记忆,是研究回汉民族传统文化的活化石和回汉人民文化交流的身体历史见证。

Based on the perspective of cultural semiotics,using the literature review methods,field investigation,and other research methods,this paper interprets the cultural symbol meaning of the Jiaxing Guanniu movement with the theories of cultural stratification.The research holds that:on the material level,the whipped cattle technology highlights the authentic portrayal of the physical instinct"fight",the site highlights the harmonious coexistence between man and all things,and the clothing highlights the worship of Allah;At the institutional level,"boxing ceremony","do not beat,hurt or abuse cattle"and"equal results"are the reverence and worship of Hui and Han people for nature and gods,the expression of love for life,protection of animals and opposition to violence and blood,and reflect the harmonious coexistence between man and nature;At the behavioral level,the behavioral cultural symbols contained in guanniu interpret the Chinese people's pursuit of internal and external cultivation and the unity of heaven and man since ancient times,reflecting the beauty of strength and wisdom,and the beauty of softness and rigidity,and expressing Jiaxing people's longing for a better life;At the conceptual level,Jiaxing guanniu highlights the spirit of Hui and Han people's unity,love,hard work,morality and martial arts.It carries the unique national energy and national memory between different generations and is a living fossil to study the traditional culture of Hui and Han people and a physical,historical witness to the cultural exchange of Hui and Han people.
