城市更新中历史街区公共空间再生策略探究——以英国国王十字街区为例

Research on Regeneration Strategy of Public Space in Historic District in Urban Renewal:A Case of King’s Cross District in London

城市更新是现阶段城市建设向存量发展优化转型的重要建设活动,历史街区蕴含着深厚的历史文化和人文内涵,是城市更新的重点对象之一。然而,目前的历史街区存在历史资源未能有效融入城市生活、公共空间品质有待提升等问题。本文以英国城市更新成功案例——国王十字街区为例,分析其更新过程中,如何进行公共空间节点的梳理、公共空间脉络的组织、历史资源与城市生活的融合,最终重塑了一套公共空间系统,实现历史街区的再生,以期为我国历史街区的公共空间复兴提供参考。

Urban renewal is an important construction activity of urban construction currently to optimize the transformation of stock development,in which the historical district contains profound historical culture and humanistic connotation and it is one of the key objects of urban renewal.However,there are some problems in the current historical districts,such as the historical resources can not be effectively integrated into urban life,and the quality of public space needs to be improved.This paper takes King’s Cross District,a successful case of urban renewal in Britain,as an example to analyze how to sort out the nodes of public space,to organize the context of public space,and to integrate historical resources with urban life in the process of urban renewal,so as to reshape a set of public space system and to realize the regeneration of historical districts.It aims to provide enlightenment for the revival of public space in historical districts in China.
