我国民族学以服务社会发展和发挥经世致用为学科传统,中国近代史特有的历史语境,决定了我国民族学有聚焦时代任务的一贯传统。新时代党的民族工作以铸牢中华民族共同体意识为主线,给我国民族学学科建设提出了新命题。聚焦铸牢中华民族共同体意识建设新时代民族学,就要找准我国民族学发展存在的不足,在指导思想、学科目标、学科对象、学科定位、学科体系、学术体系、话语体系等方面,着力建设中国特色民族学学科,提升我国民族学的国际影响力。
