节日习俗与地方性文化建构——以滕州冬至节俗为例

Festival Customs and Construction of Local Culture:A Case Study of Tengzhou’s Winter Solstice

20世纪下半叶以来,伴随着物质条件的逐步改善,滕州居民主动建构起以喝羊肉汤为主的冬至节俗。该习俗的精神文化内核不仅包含着关于以往穷苦经历的集体记忆,也寄托着当地人对于美好生活的期许。后续,该节俗的影响日益广泛,贯穿于当地居民的性格特征、人生仪礼、社会交往等各个方面,喝羊肉汤已然成为地方社会的代表性文化符号,并最终与当地经济发展进入一个良性的循环圈。滕州冬至习俗的流变历程证明了民众在节俗建构中的主观能动性,诠释了节日在现代社会中超乎寻常的影响力,并为我们观察和理解地方生活变迁与文化建构提供了新的视角。

Since the second half of the 20th century the people in Tengzhou have constructed the festival custom of taking mutton soup at the Winter Solstice(December 21-23)along with the improvement of living conditions.Its spiritual essence includes the collective memories related to the impoverished days in the past and a goodwill expectation of future life.As its effects moved into personality,life rituals and social interaction,taking mutton soup has become a typical local cultural symbol,eventually bringing forth a benign cycle of local economic development.The evolution process of Tengzhou’s Winter Solstice custom proves the folk’s initiative in constructing festival customs and explains the superb impact of festivals in modern society,providing a new perspective for us to observe and understand local life change and cultural construction.
