中国共产党怀有强烈的历史使命感,高度重视总结历史,并善于从历史中汲取前进的动力。通过“历史决议”的形式总结历史经验,是中国共产党的一个创举。党在百年历史上共推出三个“历史决议”。这三个“历史决议”均诞生于重大历史关头,均通过总结历史促进了党的团结和思想统一,均极大推动了事业发展、产生深远影响,均闪耀着马克思主义思想的光辉,鲜明体现了唯物史观和正确党史观,是总结历史、开创未来的具有里程碑意义的重要文献,是我们党波澜壮阔、可歌可泣的百年奋斗历程的一个缩影。

The Communist Party of China has a strong sense of historical mission,attaches great importantance to drawing lessons from historical past,and is good at gaining the inspiration to move forward. It is the Party’s creative endeavor to synthesize historical experience in the form of “historical resolutions”. The Party has issued three “historical resolutions ” over the course of its 100-year history. These three “historical resolutions” were all born at critical historical junctures. They all promoted the Party’s solidarity and ideological unity by re-examining history,greatly promoted the development of the cause and exerted farreaching influence;they all shone with the brilliance of Marxist thought;they are the embodiments of the materialist outlook of history and the correct view of the past;they are significant documents of epochmaking significance for reviewing the past and projecting the future;and they are microscosms of the Party’s magnificent and inspiring century-old struggle.
