The advent of the digital age has expanded the application fields and methods of museum collections.With the popularity of the Internet and mobile devices,museum collections have been given a new mission.Museum collections play a huge role in online digital display platforms and offline physical venues.This paper starts from practice,and firstly sorts out the current situation of digital display and utilization of collections.Secondly,starting from the practical problems of digitization of collections in museums,discuss and put forward countermeasures and suggestions.Finally,according to the characteristics of the digital display and utilization of the collections and the current usage scenarios of the digital collections,we start from the three communication media of the museum display space,the information platform and the media matrix.Explore how to use digital collections to meet the diverse needs of audiences for collections,enhance the richness of exhibitions and the social influence of museums,and put forward suggestions and prospects for the digital display of museum collections.
