“稱”字俗体演变考

Evolution of Folk Chinese Character Cheng(稱)

立足于嘉靖《保宁府志》,整理出17个“稱”字俗体,按照形体关联度分成3类论述,以图展现其流变概貌,这对于促进汉语俗字研究的发展以及加深汉字简化的认识将有所裨益。同时,对于推动《中华字海》《汉语大字典》等大型辞书的修订工作亦将有所裨补。

Based on The Baoning Municipal Records in Jiajing Times,the paper selects the seventeen common characters of cheng(稱)to examine and interpret.According to the body correlation,three kinds of discussion are presented.the paper tries to show the reason and process of evolution.It will be helpful to promote the development of the study of Chinese common characters and deepen the understanding of the simplification of Chinese characters.Meanwhile,it will also be helpful to promote the revision of large dictionaries such as Zhonghua Zi Hai and Grand Chinese Dictionary.
