Objective To investigate the effectiveness and safety of early intravenous injection of landiolol before percutaneous coronary intervention for myocardial rescue in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. Methods Two hundred patients who were diagnosed with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and had complete follow-up records treated in Shanxi Cardiovascular Hospital from March 2019 to March 2020 were selected, and they were divided into observation group and control group according to the double-blind method, with 100 cases in each group. The observation group received landiolol by intravenous injection, and the control group received normal saline by intravenous injection. The myocardial rescue index and other magnetic resonance imaging data were compared between the two groups. Results The myocardial rescue index of the observation group was(42.95±7.81)%,higher than the(32.75±10.38)%of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in left ventricular mass, risk myocardial mass, infarcted myocardial mass and left ventricular myocardial infarction ratio between the two groups(all P>0.05).Conclusions Early intravenous injection of landiolol before percutaneous coronary intervention may increase the degree of myocardial salvage in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, without causing additional significant hemodynamic adverse reactions.
