红楼是现上海市街坊中“最老”的历史建筑之一,为了更好地研究地块历史环境与该街坊整体格局的更新,论文介绍了红楼的建造背景,对其设计人员进行考证分析,了解了红楼的使用与改造历程,通过历史照片和原始图纸对其建筑风格进行研究和判断。

The Red Building is now one of the“oldest”historical buildings in the neighborhood of Shanghai.In order to better study the historical environment of the plot and the renewal of the overall pattern of the neighborhood,the paper introduces the construction background of the Red Building,conducts textual research on its designers,understands the use and transformation process of the Red Building,and studies and judges its architectural style through historical photos and original drawings.
