Study on the Compilation Style of Guoxue Zhiyao

《国学治要》是民国年间张文治编纂的大型四部常见书选本,响应了民国初期的“国民必读书目”风潮。该书编纂体例独具特色,一方面,《国学治要》的部类设置以四部分类法为基础,根据选本特性以篇目为本位稍加离析变通;另一方面,《国学治要》有兼目录学著作功用的企图,并非仅以文体为纲,而是具有目录学著作设部分类的样貌,书前总序、部类序、书目解题、作者小传俱全,总体可称之为“治要体”选本。

Guoxue Zhiyao is an anthology compiled by Zhang Wenzhi in the period of Republic of China.Its compilation style is unique based on the classification of four series and with the article title as unit in terms of the feature of the selected texts.At the same time,it was designed to serve as a bibliography work with introduction not only to the whole book but to each category,text and the author.
