With the gradual advancement of the new curriculum reform,teachers should actively optimize teaching ideas,innovate educational paths,take cultivating students'core competence as the general goal of teaching,and promote students'long-term development.This paper explores the path of mathematics innovation education under the background of core competence:creating teaching situations to stimulate students'learning enthusiasm;experience the process of exploration and cultivate students'mathematical thinking;pay attention to practice teaching and improve students'mathematics learning ability;using flipped classroom and mind map to cultivate students'mathematics learning habits;pay attention to the teaching of mathematical history and enhance students'mathematical emotion.
