公安院校英语课程思政教育的探索与实践

课程思政是高校全面落实“立德树人”根本任务的重要组成部分,也是高校建设全员、全程、全方位育人大思政格局的基本要求。公安院校英语课程思政教育应紧扣公安院校人才培养目标,突出公安院校的特殊属性。大学英语课程和警务英语课程的开设为公安院校实施课程思政奠定了良好基础。针对英语课程思政教育存在的问题,公安院校应优化课程思政教学内容,提高教师政治理论和警察职业素养,提升教师课程思政认识及教学能力,创新教学模式,探索教育质量评价内容、手段、标准,提高课程思政教育效果,逐步形成具有公安院校特色的英语课程思政教育教学体系,实现英语课程的育人育警目标。

Ideological and political education is an important part of fostering virtues in universities,as well as the basic requirement for talent cultivation.The ideological education in English courses in the police college should be in accordance with its cultivation plan and pinpoint its feature.The college English and police English courses provide chances to implement the idea.Considering the problems in the teaching process,the police college should select proper teaching materials,enhance the political theory and professional quality of the faculty and their awareness and teaching competence of the ideological education,innovate the teaching modes,explore the assessment tools and improve the teaching effect so that it contributes to building a featured ideological teaching system in English courses in the police college and fulfilling the goal of police cultivation.
