跨文化理论指导下孔子学院建设方案的思考

The Development of Confucius Institute Guided by the Cross-cultural Theories

孔子学院(孔院)自2004年以来历经17年的高速发展,获得了诸多成就。但近年来遭遇了重大挑战。本文从历史遗留、当前困境、未来瓶颈三个层面对孔院面临的问题进行客观分析,针对当前孔院改革的新形势,并结合多年运行孔院的实际经验,基于跨文化适应理论和ATUBE跨文化交融过程理论,提出了一套适用于孔院自身建设和管理的综合解决方案(“四层面融合”执行策略与“四抓四重视”执行方法)。孔院应从提高自身文化适应力和文化融合力的角度,逐步完善可持续、可推广的建设方案,使孔院能够健康、高效地发展。

The Confucius Institute has made remarkable achievements for 17 years of rapid development since2004, but it has recently encountered many critical challenges and problems. This article examined these challenges from three aspects: historical heritage, current difficulties, and future challenges. Based on the new situation of the Confucius Institute’s reform, the practical experiences of operating the Confucius Institute for many years, and the two critical cross-cultural theories(the acculturation theory, the ATUBE Cross-Cultural Integration Theory), this paper proposed comprehensive business plans or strategies(primarily the executive tactics of the“Integration at Four Levels”and the executive practice of the“Four Foci and Four Emphases”) for the Confucius Institute’s development and management. We recommend that the Confucius Institute gradually advance and promote its business plans to improve its cultural adaptability and cultural integration for its healthy and sustainable development.
