摘要
在企业社会责任与技术创新关系背景下,基于信号理论分析了企业行业特征的重要调节作用,并采用2011—2020年润灵环球责任评级数据(RKS)和国家知识产权局专利数据进行了实证检验。研究发现,当目标企业的CSR处于行业领先水平、行业竞争程度较低或处于高技术密集行业时,企业社会责任表现对企业技术创新绩效的促进作用更明显。进一步研究发现,当目标企业CSR处于行业领先水平且所在行业竞争水平低时,更能促进创新专利数量增加,表现出领先者效应。在竞争激烈行业,企业CSR落后状态会对企业技术创新专利质量产生抑制作用,表现出落后者效应。
In the context of the relationship between corporate social responsibility(CSR)and technological innovation,this paper analyzes the important moderating role of enterprise industry characteristics based on signal theory,and uses Runling Global Responsibility Rating data(RSK)and Patent data of The State Intellectual Property Office from 2011 to 2020 to conduct empirical tests.It is found that when the CSR of target enterprises is at the leading level,the level of industry competition is low or the enterprise is in the high-tech intensive industry,the CSR performance has a more obvious promotion effect on the technological innovation performance of enterprises.Further research shows that when the CSR of the target enterprise is at the leading level and the competition level of the industry is low,the number of innovation patents can be more increased,showing the leader effect.In industries with intense competition,the lagging CSR state will inhibit the patent quality of technological innovation,showing the lagging effect.
