巢湖半汤温泉的语义思考与文化阐释

A Semantic Study on Bantang Hot Spring of Chaohu City and its Cultural Interpretation

从语义角度讨论了“半”字在“半汤温泉”中的意境。在一般情况下,“半”是指“一半冷泉、一半热泉相混合”,而在那种具体物理情境的基础上,可分两个层次讨论了“半汤温泉”其“半”的文化意义。首先通过文献与情景分析给出了“半汤温泉”之“半”的10种情景所指,从而大大强化了半汤温泉的情景文化氛围,如讨论了“半汤山”为何也称为“半阳山”;继而从引申的文化意义角度认为,自称为“半”也表明了一种谦虚的态度,还可以是指有益于健康、符合江淮流域气候特征的“齐腰泡温泉”,或指“半疗半愈”的温泉康养态度等。

The meaning of“ban(half)”for“Bantang”hot spring is discussed from the semantic aspect.Generally speaking,it is based on the specific physical situation of“mixture of cold and hot springs”.This paper explores its cultural meanings from two levels.First it suggests 10 situations about the“ban”,which improves and enriches the cultural atmosphere of“Bantang”hot spring.For example,why the“Bantang Hill”is called“Banyang Hill”is discussed,as“Yang”can mean sunshine.Furthermore,it is also pointed out that“ban”expresses a kind of modesty from an extended perspective of cultural meaning,which can also refer to healthy hot spring pool in line with the geographical climate of Jiang-huai watershed,or the attitude of health and wellness of“half recuperating and half healing”by the hot spring.In conclusion,it is believed that this“ban”culture needs to be deeply excavated.
