Experience of Professor BaiYanpingin the Treatment of Eczema

湿疹是一种发病因素复杂的皮肤病,极易反复,缠绵难愈。白彦萍教授在临床中常用中西医结合的方法治疗湿疹,在中医方面的临床治疗中,结合自身数十年临床经验,认为湿疹的病机不仅与风、湿、热相关,与血热、血虚、血燥、血瘀等血分病变也有密切的关系,因而治疗湿疹时在注重清热祛风除湿的同时,还注重血分的调养,如清热凉血、养血润燥、活血化瘀等,清补兼施,标本同治,既能改善患者症状,也能改善患者体质,达到较为理想的远期疗效。

Eczema is a skin disease with complex pathogenic factors,which is prone to recurrence and refractory.Professor Bai Yanping treats eczema in clinical practice by integrating traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and western medicine.In the TCM clinical treatment,Professor Bai,based on theclinical experience for decades,believes that in addition to wind,dampness,and heat,the pathogenesis of eczema is also related to blood aspect disorders,such as blood heat,blood deficiency,blood dryness,and blood stasis.Therefore,while focusing on clearing heat,dispelling wind,and removing dampness,the treatment of eczema should also highlight the regulation and nourishing of blood aspect,such as clearing heat,cooling blood,nourishing blood,moistening dryness,activating blood,and resolving stasis.The combination of clearing and tonifying and treating both the symptoms and the root causes can improve both the symptoms and the physical conditions of patients and achieve a desirable long-term efficacy.
