Lost Care,a long inferential novel written by the Japanese writer Aki Hamanaka,is about the pain of loss and the aging dilemma. The novel unveils various problems of the insurance system of caring in Japan, criticizes the loopholes in the social system, and in the meanwhile, reminds readers to pay attention to the increasingly serious problem of aging and the low birth rate. Located in East Asia as Japan,China is also facing the same and even more severe situation in the future. Japan experienced the low birth rate and aging dilemma earlier than China, and accumulated lessons and experiences in this field. The novelLost Careprovides us intensive enlightenment in this regard.
