食管癌中Six1的表达及意义

Expression and significance of Six1 in esophageal carcinoma

目的:研究Six1在食管癌中的表达及其与临床病理特征的关系,探讨Six1在食管癌发生发展及侵袭、转移中的作用。方法:采用免疫组化Elivision两步法观察正常食管黏膜(61例),低级别上皮内瘤变(39例),高级别上皮内瘤变(47例),食管鳞状细胞癌(56例)组织中Six1的表达情况。结果:食管癌组织中Six1阳性表达率显著高于正常食管黏膜及上皮内瘤变组织,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),且从正常黏膜到低级别上皮内瘤变(59.0%)、高级别上皮内瘤变(76.6%)、癌组织(78.6%),阳性表达率逐渐升高;食管癌组织中Six1阳性表达与肿瘤分化程度、浸润深度、TNM分期、淋巴结转移相关,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),而与性别、年龄、肿瘤最大径无关,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:Six1可能在食管癌的发生、发展过程中起重要作用。

Objective To study the expression of Six1 in esophageal cancer and its relationship with clinicopathological features,and to explore the role of Six1 in the development,invasion and metastasis of esophageal cancer.Method The expression of Six1 in normal esophageal mucosa(61 cases),low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia(39 cases),high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia(47 cases)and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(56 cases)was observed by Elivision immunohistochemical two-step method.Results The positive expression rate of Six1 in esophageal carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than that in normal esophageal mucosa and intraepithelial neoplasia tissues(P<0.05),and the positive expression rate increased gradually from normal mucosa to low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia(59.0%),high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia(76.6%),and carcinoma tissues(78.6%).The positive expression of Six1 in esophageal carcinoma was correlated with the degree of differentiation,depth of invasion,TNM stage,and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05),but not with gender,age,and the largest tumor diameter(P>0.05).Conclusion Six1 may play an important role in the pathogenesis and progression of esophageal cancer.
