Effects of Perceived Parental Gender Stereotype on Self-Stereotyping:A Moderated Mediation Model

摘要 目的:关注感知的父母性别刻板印象对青少年自我刻板化的影响,探索性别系统公正性和内群体归属感在其中的中介作用,并进一步分析性别在其中的调节作用。方法:采用父母性别刻板印象问卷、自我刻板化问卷、性别系统公正性问卷和内群体归属感问卷对317名大学生进行调查。结果:路径分析结果表明,感知的父母性别刻板印象能够通过性别系统公正性和内群体归属感间接影响自我刻板化,并且这种影响只在女生群体中存在。结论:感知父母性别刻板印象通过性别系统公正性和内群体归属感间接影响女生的自我刻板化。 Objective:The present study focused on the effect of perceived parental gender stereotype on adolescents’ self-stereotyping,explored the mediator role of gender-specific system justification and in-group belonging,and further analyzed whether this mediating process was moderated by the gender.Methods:With questionnaire survey method,we investigated 317 participants using the parental gender stereotyping questionnaire,self-stereotyping questionnaire,genderspecific system justification scale and in-group belonging scale.Results:The results of path analysis showed that,perceived parental gender stereotypes could influence self-stereotyping through gender-specific system justification and ingroup belonging,and this mediation influence existed only among female participants.Conclusion:There was a moderated mediation model between parental gender stereotype and adolescents’ self-stereotyping.Perceived parental gender stereotypes could indirectly influence female’s self-stereotyping through gender-specific system justification and in-group belonging.
