Objective To explore the clinical effects of acupuncture rehabilitation in children with cerebral palsy on cognitive dysfunction. Methods 60 children with cerebral palsy admitted to the department from June 2019 to August 2020 were selected as observation objects and were randomly divided into a control group(30 cases)and an observation group(30 cases). The former received rehabilitation treatment, and the latter took acupuncture treatment based on rehabilitation treatment. The symptoms and signs scores, total effective rate of treatment and Montreal cognitive assessment(MoCA)scores of the two groups of children were compared. Results In the observation group after acupuncture rehabilitation, the children’s chewing weakness, speech delay, head weakness, and standing delay were(0.83±0.15)points,(0.88±0.17)points,(0.72±0.13)points and(0.95±0.17)points,respectively,significantly lower than those of the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group after treatment was 93.33%,which was higher than 80.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Applying acupuncture rehabilitation therapy to the clinical treatment of children with cerebral palsy, the childrenis cognitive function and recovery effect are better.
