A Preliminary Study on the Chinese Christian Bible Translation in Hong Kong and the Taiwan Region in the 20;Century

20世纪后圣经汉语翻译开启划时代的新转向,先是从外国传教士转向华人圣经学者为主译的时代,产生了诸多圣经译本。其次是20世纪下半叶圣经翻译主译场从大陆转移到了港台地区,产生了十余种圣经汉译本,它们不仅体现了20世纪70年代后白话文的时代变化,而且呈现出圣经汉译从20世纪上半叶的个人翻译到集体翻译的转向,甚至出现了非基督徒翻译的圣经译本。其中现代中文译本、圣经新译本、恢复本等圣经译本在海外华人中流传颇广,蕴含着丰富的汉语发展时代变化和基督教派特色。

The Chinese translation of the Bible began a epoch-making new turn in the 20;century.First,it resulted in many versions turning from the foreign missionaries to the Chinese Biblical scholars.Secondly,the main translation field of the Bible was transferred from the mainland to Hong Kong and the Taiwan region.They not only reflected the changes in the vernacular language since the 1970 s,but also showed the turn of Chinese Bible translation from individually to collectively,and even the emergence of non-Christian translator.Among them,Today’s Chinese Version,Chinese New Version and Recovery Version of the Bible are widely spread among overseas Chinese,which contain rich changes in the development of Chinese language and Christian characteristics.
