The development of vocational undergraduate education is the focus of research and practice in the field of education.From the perspective of history,vocational undergraduate education is the historical necessity of the centennial development of China’s vocational education and a new chapter of the times in the new historical direction of China’s vocational education.From the perspective of reality,the development of vocational undergraduate education is not only the internal needs of high-quality economic development,meeting the realistic demands of educatees for undergraduate vocational education,but also the internal driving force of the development of vocational education itself.From the perspective of framework design for action,vocational undergraduate education also needs to face problems and challenges,lay a solid foundation for development,focus on connotation construction,and show the new exploration,new connotation and new characteristics of the development of vocational undergraduate education.
